02. Human Nature

I’ve always been fascinated with the similarities between human anatomy and nature. Scientists have observed that many natural things follow a mathematical pattern called the Fibonacci Sequence or Golden Mean. Da Vinci famously depicted how segments of our bodies follow this pattern in “Vitruvian Man”. Many plants form their trunks, branches, and leaves in the same pattern as well. The following is a 3 piece series exploring similarities in forms.
